Wade Ford supports Atlanta Mission’s Shelter for Women and Children

On Wednesday, January 27,  Steve Ewing, the owner of Wade Ford presented a $2,500 plus check to the Atlanta Mission and serve lunch at My Sister’s House along with 12 of his dealership employees.

Employees of Wade Ford, located in Smyrna, have been collecting donations of clothing and money for Atlanta Mission’s shelter for women and children, My Sister's Place, as part of their employee community outreach program.

"It's important for local businesses to get involved and we appreciate their donations," said Don Wilkinson, manager of partnerships at the Atlanta Mission. "They will be used to help provide food for the 800 meals we serve every day at My Sister's House."

Wade Ford is committed to giving back as Ewing says that community support is an important dealership priority, particularly at this time of year.

“We are proud to give back to our community and support the Atlanta Mission,” said Ewing. “The Atlanta area is home to over 7,000 homeless people who face tough conditions, especially during the winter months.”

Additional community efforts driven by Wade Ford include sponsoring the Wade Ford Summer Concert Series each year, the Campbell High School soccer and football teams, and participating in Ford’s Drive 4 UR School program alternating support for local high schools,  cancer walks, coat drives, Toys for Tots, can drives and supporting other activities in Cobb and Fulton counties.
