As fitting of the Rogue Sport name, its fun-to-drive performance credentials are achieved by a combination of a 141-horsepower 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder engine, Xtronic transmission with Eco Mode switch and a 4-wheel independent suspension.

Like Rogue, the new Rogue Sport offers a comprehensive suite of Nissan Intelligent Safety Shield technologies. About the 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport
The new Rogue Sport shares many of the design, utility and technology attributes that have made Rogue Nissan's best-selling vehicle in the United States. It is slightly smaller, sportier and more affordable than Rogue and designed for younger, urban SUV buyers. These buyers are looking for much more space than a compact sedan, while still seeking the maneuverability and fun-to-drive feel that Rogue Sport delivers.

The exterior of the Rogue Sport features a distinctive "emotional geometry" design that combines a progressive, compact body with powerful fender volume and an aggressive, wheel-oriented stance that conveys a feeling of robust agility.
Among the available comfort and convenience features are leather-appointed seating, heated front seats, SiriusXM® Satellite Radio (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately) and available Divide-N-Hide® Cargo System, RearView Monitor, Siri® Eyes Free1, NissanConnectSM with Navigation and Mobile Apps, 7.0-inch color touch-screen display and Hands-free Text Messaging Assistant2. The 2017 Rogue Sport is offered in front-wheel and intuitive all-wheel-drive configurations, and in three well-equipped grade levels – S, SV and SL. Rogue Sport is assembled in Kyushu, Japan.

Nissan announces U.S. pricing for 2017 Sentra

Nissan has announced the U.S. pricing for the 2017 Nissan Sentra and new Sentra SR Turbo. Normally aspirated Sentra models are on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide, while the new SR Turbo becomes available in October.

The Nissan Sentra, the company's third best-selling vehicle behind Altima and Rogue, has been a mainstay in the compact sedan segment for 35 years and seven generations. Following a consistent stream of product enhancements year after year – along with steadily increasing sales – Sentra kicks things up a few notches with the addition of the new SR Turbo.

Based on the popular Sentra SR grade, which accounts for more than 15 percent total Sentra sales, the new SR Turbo maintains the SR's unique sporty exterior, interior and wheel treatments, but with 50 percent more horsepower.

All 2017 Sentra grades include improved interior quietness due to increased front and rear window glass thickness and nearly double the storage capacity in the front center console.

Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Prices* (MSRP) for the 2017 Nissan Sentra:

Model

MSRP
Sentra S
1.8-liter 6MT
$16,990 USD
Sentra S

$21,990 USD
Sentra SR Turbo
1.6-liter Xtronic

At the heart of the 2017 SR Turbo is its new 1.6-liter Direct Injection Gasoline (DIGĂ”) turbocharged engine rated at 188 horsepower at 5,600 RPM and 177 lb-ft of torque at 1,600 - 5,200 RPM – 64 more horsepower and 52 more lb-ft of torque (41 percent more) than the non-turbo 2017 Sentra SR grade's 1.8-liter powerplant.

As expected of a vehicle with an engine like the 1.6-liter turbo, the Sentra SR Turbo is available with a 6-speed manual transmission, with gear ratios selected to take maximum advantage of the engine's powerband and torque curve. The SR Turbo is also offered with an advanced Xtronic transmission with manual mode, a version unique to the SR Turbo to match the new engine's performance. To help handle the increased power and torque, significant changes were made to the suspension, steering and brakes to give the new SR Turbo a great driving feel.

A number of Nissan's advanced Safety Shield Technologies and convenience features are available on the 2017 Sentra, including Forward Emergency Braking (FEB), Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC), Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). The 2016 Nissan cars, SUVs and trucks lineup

Leading the way for 2016 are two more all-new models – the eighth-generation Nissan Maxima "4-Door Sports Car" and the category redefining, Cummins diesel-powered Nissan TITAN XD pickup. The stunning new Maxima arrived at Nissan dealerships nationwide in June and will be followed by TITAN XD later in the year.

But that's not all. Two of the company's top-selling models, Altima and Sentra, also will see significant refreshing in the 2016 model year.

The new model year also sees the continued advancement of Nissan safety and connectivity system technology across the widest-ever application of vehicles and trim levels – including NissanConnect with Navigation and Mobile Apps, NissanConnect Services telematics, Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW), Driver Attention Alert (DAA) and Around View® Monitor (AVM) with Moving Object Detection (MOD), just to name a few.

Nissan's Forward Emergency Braking (FEB), which uses radar technology to monitor speed and proximity to the vehicle ahead, is now available on the 2016 Rogue. It joins Murano and Maxima as vehicles offering this advanced technology usually found on more expensive luxury vehicles. Nissan will add the technology to more products before the year is finished.

The new year also sees the introduction of Siri™ Eyes Free to the Nissan lineup, beginning with the 2016 JUKE and Rogue. The system allows drivers to utilize the Siri™ function on equipped iPhones® through a voice command button on the steering wheel without having to take their eyes off the road.

Here is an overview of the major enhancements to Nissan cars, SUVs and trucks for the 2016 model year.

  • Versa Note SV adds content of the previous SV Convenience Package as standard equipment, including: NissanConnect with Mobile Apps, 5.0-inch color display, Streaming audio via Bluetooth®, Hands-free Text Messaging Assistant and SiriusXM Satellite Radio (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately), RearView Monitor and Divide-N-Hide® Adjustable Floor
  • 370Z Coupe and 370Z NISMO add a new available Bose® audio system incorporating Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Active Sound Enhancement (ASE)
  • JUKE adds two new Personal Package options, Solar Yellow on the SV grade and Super Black on the SL grade, along with the addition of standard Siri™ Eyes Free
  • Pathfinder features new high-contrast Almond interior, and a Cold Package is now available with the SV grade

  • And Xterra, one of the boldly designed vehicles that helped reinvigorate the Nissan brand at the beginning of the century, will go out of production after a highly successful 15-year run
