2015 Ford Edge Sport

Cruising around in the 2015 Ford Edge Sport definitely made head turns from the slick design to beautiful Electric Spice color had people stopping me every where I went. I was first introduced to the Ford Edge in San Fransisco at the Ford Trends Conference so I was super excited to test drive it for a couple of weeks.

The Ford Edge Crossover comes equipped with Enhanced Active Park Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and Collision Warning, a 180-degree front camera system with a washer, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, two 2-amp USB chargers.

This vehicle handles great and averages up to 18 city, 27 highway MPG, comes packed with a powerful Ecoboost Engine: 2.7L V6

Lane Keeping Assist: There is a camera mounted behind the windshield that monitors road lane markings to determine vehicle position and detect a lane departure. Lane-keeping alert warns that you’re starting to drift through a series of steering wheel vibrations, which mimic a rumble strip

The 2015 Ford Edge is offered in SE, SEL, Titanium and Sport trim levels. All models come with front- or all-wheel drive.

Standard features of the SE model include 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, air-conditioning, a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, a 4.2-inch screen in the center stack, a rearview camera and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player and USB and auxiliary inputs. Also included is Ford's Sync system that features voice recognition, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, 911 Assist, and the ability to run apps such as Pandora Internet radio through a smartphone.

The Ford Edge comes standard with antilock brakes, traction and stability control, Ford's Curve Control, front knee airbags, front side airbags, side curtain airbags and a rearview camera. The Ford Sync system includes an emergency crash-notification feature that automatically dials 911 when paired with a compatible cell phone. Also standard is Ford's MyKey, which can be used to set certain parameters for secondary drivers such as teens or valets. All but the SE also have rear parking sensors.

This vehicle MSRP starts at $38,100 for more information please visit www.ford.com
